chi sei tu?

chi sei tu che mi segui in ogni istante: 

passo felino, respiro odor di cenere.

mi annusi, mi osservi celata.

mi accarezzi con la tua severa latenza.

mi circuisci con soave scioltezza: Amata.

mi giro ovunque, mai ti scorgo.

ci sei, esisti lo so, ti sento ovunque io sia.

ci sei lo so e so che non mi abbandonerai

io, pura e ambita preda d'altri tempi.

sei con me. sei in me: banchettiamo.

unica compagna di una temibile esistenza.

unica degna di un relitto umano.

sono qui ad aspettare quello che sobrio deve accadere.

accadrà inutile sbeffeggiarlo, inutile scongiurarlo.

accadrà, verrà il suo orrido momento.

verrà ad ammaliarmi con il suo alito fetido.

verrà e tutto si placherà, all'infinito.

Who are you?

Who are you, following me every moment: 

feline step, breathing the scent of ash.

You smell me, you observe me hidden.

You caress me with your stern latency.

You surround me with gentle ease: Beloved.

I turn everywhere, never seeing you.

You are here, I know you exist, I feel you wherever I am.

I know you are here and I know you will not abandon me,

I, pure and coveted prey from times gone by.

You are with me. You are in me: we feast.

The only companion of a fearful existence.

The only one worthy of a human wreck.

I am here, soberly awaiting what must happen.

It will happen; it will be useless to mock it, useless to ward it off.

It will happen, its horrid moment will come.

It will come to bewitch me with its fetid breath.

It will come and everything will calm down, endlessly.
